Corning components (cable and connectors)

Hello,

 

we are currently planning our new HDBaseT installation. I was very surprised that Corning isn’t listed on the official supported and certified manufactors.

 

Our complete building installation in based on Corning components:

Cable: Corning FutureCom™ S/FTP 800/23 (https://ecatalog.corning.com/optical-communications/EMEA/en_GB/Copper-Cables/Indoor-Cables/Indoor-Solid-Cables/FutureCom%E2%84%A2-S-FTP-800-23%2C-blue/p/CCXEDB-F0047-C001-L7?clear=true)

Connectors: Corning FutureCom™ S500 Jack (https://ecatalog.corning.com/optical-communications/EMEA/en_GB/Copper-Cables/Indoor-Cables/Indoor-Solid-Cables/FutureCom%E2%84%A2-S-FTP-800-23%2C-blue/p/CCXEDB-F0047-C001-L7?clear=true)

 

Both componets has better specification then most of the certified cables of the cable list.

 

So, I am interested to know if anybody else used Corning components here?

If yes, can you share your experience? Does it stable works?

Thanks for raising an interesting question! To avoid any misunderstandings, I would like to share a small clarification.

 

The HDBaseT Alliance does not test all cables on the market – that would be an impossible task. Rather, cable vendors may choose to send in their cables for testing as part of our HDBaseT Recommended Cable Program or our Certification Program for Power over HDBaseT (PoH) cables. So if a particular cable that you are interested in does not appear on one of these lists, it means that the vendor did not choose to have it tested, and does not imply that it is better/worse than cables that do appear in the listings.
